Head Chef: Nicholas Wroblewski
Located in the historic Spring House, Northfield Food and Drink will make you feel right at home, whether you’re nestled near the fireplace having a romantic dinner, or enjoying a cocktail on one of Rochester’s finest patios. Of course, the inside bar is equally inviting, and there are always Happy Hour specials to take advantage of.
The Northfield menu showcases the best of Rochester, using local produce. The veggie selection changes daily, and the soups are homemade. Lunch selections include the classic Grilled Reuben, and a Pulled Pork Sandwich with the pork piled high. For dinner, choose from a variety of appetizers, such as the Ahi Tuna, and move on to dishes ranging from Garlic Braised Beef Brisket, to a delicious fall-off-the-bone Lamb Shank in a Red Wine Jus. You’ll also find great steaks, seafood, and daily specials that feature the season’s best offerings. There is also a Bar Fare menu that will not disappoint!
A native of Detroit, Head Chef Nick Wroblewski started his career at the age of 14 in a local “mom and pop” establishment, where he learned to love hearty, homestyle cooking. His passion took him off the beaten path to Alaska, where he further developed his skills, bringing them back to the East Coast. Working to pay for culinary school, he lived in the kitchen, and loved it. In Rochester for four years now, Nick has had experience ranging from Executive Banquet Chef at the Lodge at Woodcliff to opening and running smaller cafes in the city. Now at Northfield, he combines his love of food with the culinary knowledge he has gained, creating delicious traditional dishes as well as new ones that will keep you coming back.
